Susan Perry, M.A.
Herbalist, Author and Health Educator
Susan lives in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, where she has owned a medicinal herb company since 1996. She produces a variety handcrafted herbal products and teaches classes on identifying and using herbal medicines. She is the author of Medicinal Herbs and Natural Health, which she wrote for her many students and clients, and Life on a Mountain Farm, available on Amazon.
Susan has degrees from the University of Iowa and Hampton University in Education and Psychology. She completed the North Carolina Master Gardeners program, and enjoys growing fruits and vegetables at her thirty-six acre farm. She is also certified in Educational Kinesiology, a unique program that maximizes right/left brain balance and functioning.
Before moving to North Carolina, Susan was a consultant at Procter and Gamble for five years, where she taught business writing and cross-cultural communication skills in Japan and California. She has also worked at the Edgar Cayce organization in Virginia Beach, and is a Life Member.
Travel throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States has been a favorite activity, and Susan loves speaking foreign languages, particularly French and Japanese. She enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
